These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ziggys Entertainment Group website (ziggysentertainmentgroup.com) and any booking of our DJ, sound, lighting, and entertainment services (“Services”). By using our website or booking our Services, you (“the Client”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or engage our Services.

2. Bookings and Contract Formation
2.1 A quote provided by ZEG (verbally, by email, or via our website) does not constitute a binding booking.
2.2 A booking is only confirmed once: (a) the Client has agreed to these Terms, (b) a completed booking form/contract has been signed or accepted in writing, and (c) the required deposit (see Section 3) has been received.
2.3 It is the Client’s responsibility to check and confirm all details on the booking confirmation (date, time, venue, duration, package) are correct. ZEG is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect information supplied by the Client.
2.4 We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our discretion, including where the requested event, venue, or content conflicts with our values or operating capability.
3. Deposits and Payment
3.1 A non-refundable deposit of [Insert % or £ amount] is required to secure your booking date. The date is not held or guaranteed until the deposit is received.
3.2 The remaining balance is due no later than [Insert number, e.g. 14 days] before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Late payment may result in suspension or cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.
3.4 Accepted payment methods are as stated on your invoice/booking confirmation. Payment processing is handled securely via our nominated third-party provider(s).
3.5 Any additional services requested on the day (e.g. overtime, extra equipment) will be charged at the applicable rate and must be agreed and, where possible, paid for before or immediately after the event.
4. Cancellations and Postponements
4.1 Cancellation by the Client
- Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances.
- Cancellations made [Insert period, e.g. more than 60 days] before the event: any balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded, less any costs already incurred by ZEG.
- Cancellations made [Insert period, e.g. within 30 days] of the event: the full booking fee becomes payable and is non-refundable, as we will likely have turned away other bookings for that date.
4.2 Postponement
We will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate a postponed date, subject to availability, at no additional administration cost. Where the new date is unavailable, standard cancellation terms apply.
4.3 Cancellation by ZEG
In the rare event that ZEG must cancel a booking (e.g. due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control), we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable, comparable replacement DJ/entertainer at no extra cost to the Client. If no replacement can be arranged, all monies paid by the Client for that booking will be refunded in full. Our liability is limited to a refund of sums paid; we accept no liability for any other losses arising from such cancellation.
5. Force Majeure
ZEG shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disaster, pandemic, government restrictions, strikes, power failure, or serious illness/accident affecting essential personnel. Where reasonably possible, we will notify the Client promptly and work with the Client to find an alternative solution (such as a replacement performer or rescheduled date).
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate event details, including venue access instructions, event timings, and any venue-specific restrictions (noise limits, curfews, sound limiters, power availability)
- Obtain any necessary permissions, licenses, or consents required from the venue or relevant authorities (including PRS/PPL music licensing where the venue does not already hold this)
- Ensure a safe, dry, covered performance area with adequate and safely accessible mains power (minimum requirements will be confirmed on booking) is available for our equipment
- Ensure reasonable parking or loading access is available for our DJ/crew and equipment
- Be responsible for the conduct of guests at the event. The Client will be liable for any damage caused to ZEG’s equipment by guests, and reserves the right for ZEG staff to suspend performance if guest behaviour poses a risk to staff, equipment, or public safety
- Advise us in advance of any specific music restrictions (e.g. explicit content, “do not play” lists) — we will always aim to accommodate reasonable requests but retain final discretion to keep the dancefloor appropriate to the audience
7. Our Services and Equipment
7.1 We supply professional, PAT-tested sound and lighting equipment and experienced DJs/performers.
7.2 Where a specific named DJ is booked, we will make all reasonable efforts to provide that individual. In the rare event of illness or emergency, we reserve the right to provide a suitably experienced replacement DJ of comparable standard, without reducing the agreed fee, and will notify the Client as soon as reasonably possible.
7.3 Standard performance times are as set out in the booking confirmation. Any overtime requested on the night is subject to DJ availability and will be charged at our standard overtime rate, payable on the night.
7.4 We reserve the right to stop or adjust the performance if we reasonably believe continuing would pose a health and safety risk (e.g. venue overcrowding, electrical faults, aggressive guest behaviour).
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 Ziggys Entertainment Group holds Public Liability Insurance. A copy of our current insurance certificate and PAT testing certificates can be provided to venues or clients on request.
8.2 We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8.3 Except as set out above, our total liability to the Client for any claim arising from or in connection with a booking shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for that booking.
8.4 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, disappointment, or losses arising from circumstances outside our control (see Section 5, Force Majeure).
8.5 The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue’s electrical supply is safe and compliant; ZEG is not liable for issues arising from faulty venue power or facilities.
9. Photography, Video, and Marketing Use
9.1 ZEG or an appointed third party may take photographs or video footage at events for portfolio and promotional purposes (e.g. website, social media, marketing materials).
9.2 If the Client or any guest does not wish to be identifiable in such content, please notify us in writing before the event, and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate this request.
9.3 Any content provided by the Client (e.g. playlists, photos, logos for a corporate event) may be used solely for the purpose of delivering the Services.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the ZEG website — including text, logos, images, graphics, and design — is owned by or licensed to Ziggys Entertainment Group and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our prior written consent.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to that booking. Changes to website-use terms take effect immediately upon posting.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
